Hi I'm Freya!

I'm a 3D animator with roughly 3 years experience working in film and tv. I have done 7 months working in layout and then moved into animation. I love everything that is the behind the scenes of making entertainment that people enjoy, but I found that animation was the part I enjoyed the most. I have had the pleasure in working on projects with a great variety of techniques. Projects requiring fully keyframed animations, working with the roto-animation provided from onset performances and using motion capture of body and face. Creating shots with a balance of editing the motion capture info to keyframing new segments to match in style. I have loved the projects and the incredible teams I have been a part of and learnt so much along the way.​​
Education
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in Computer Animation and Visual Effects which was a generalised course covering a large portion of the CGI and VFX pipeline.​ During university I started to specialise into my passion of animation and went on to take part in the Technicolor Focus Academy animation course in 2021. This course covered the basics in animation and allowed for guest speakers from companies under Technicolor to speak about their work and provide feedback on our animations. This then gave me the start into my career at MPC.
